Education is in our roots – from first meeting the needs of local teachers decades ago, to now helping our Michigan community members grow and achieve their financial goals. Arbor Financial Credit Union introduced the Scholarship Program in 1999, and since then, has given away $528,000 to area students through the program based on the strength of an essay and other factors.
The Arbor Financial Scholarship awarded $24,000 to 12 high school seniors this year based on the strength of an essay. The 2022 scholarship essay topic was based on the quote, “The whole is greater than the sum of the parts.” – Aristotle.
